Course Overview

This Competency-Based TVET approved program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to provide psychological support. This program focuses on developing essential counselling techniques to support individuals and groups in addressing emotional, psychological, and mental health challenges within diverse community settings.

Duration

The course runs for 1.5 years (five trimesters) with both theoretical and practical application.

Entry Requirements:

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain)

Certificate in a related field

Equivalent qualifications as determined by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)

Any other international qualifications approved by KNQA
